The CNIC is an international project currently in expansion, with a solid commitment to high quality research, and as such advocates equal opportunity employment for men and women, both from Spain and abroad, as well as the integration of disable people, based on the principles of transparency and merit.

Those starting a career in research have the opportunity to join the CNIC with a four-year grant contract, with the aim of writing a doctoral thesis within an environment of scientific and technological excellence. The CNIC has been entered in the registry of organizations subject to Royal Decree 63/2006, of 27th January, which has approved the charter for research personnel in training.

Other training programs are also available, aimed at kindling interest in a research career and facilitating international mobility among young researchers. More information is available in the section on training.

The CNIC will also help Spanish civil servants to arrange the most suitable leave of absence or administrative situation, in compliance with the Basic Statute of Public Employment Law 7/2007, 12th April.
