Protection of the results of R&D is essential for their exploitation, whether by the center or its researchers (for instance by creating spin-off companies), or by transfer to external users, other institutions or society in general. Therefore a key objective of the CNIC is to help the CNIC’s researchers to adequately protect the results generated by their research and to transfer them to other institutions interested in them.
