This study will use non-invasive imaging techniques to examine vascular-related degenerative brain diseases in order to obtain a deeper understanding of these diseases and the factors that influence their development. The study will be conducted with the following models:
- a) Rat models of hypertension
- b) Pig models of spontaneous hyperlipidemia
- c) Mouse models of diabetes
The project has been outlined and will start shortly.
