This position is available in the new laboratory incorporating at CNIC under the CNIC-UPF collaborative agreement, led by Dr. Pura Muñoz-Cánoves. We are looking for enthusiastic and highly-motivated individuals with an interest in cardiovascular diseases. The laboratory is focused at identifying novel mechanisms involved in involved in regeneration of adult striated muscles and in the pathogenesis of muscular dystrophies. In the recent years, the group has made relevant contributions to these converging muscle research fields.
The selected candidate must fulfill the following criteria:
- PhD in Life Sciences
- At least 4 years of experience of postdoctoral work
- Deep knowledge of skeletal muscle biology
- Deep knowledge of immunology
- Deep experience in mouse models related to the area of the group.
- Experience in cellular and molecular biology
- Knowledge of genomics techniques
- Experience in mouse transgenesis
- At least 2 papers as main author. Additional publications will be an asset
