Carmen obtained her degree as Technician in Pathological Anatomy and Cytology at the Opesa training center in Madrid in 2016. During her degree she conducted the lab training in Dr. David Sancho's group at CNIC. Since 2019 she has been part of Dr. Mercedes Ricote's laboratory at the CNIC. Within the group, she provides technical support for the research lines of the lab, specifically she is involved in the management of animal colonies and maintenance of cell cultures. She performs microtome and cryostat preparations and provide support with molecular biology techniques.
