Antibody Responses in Health and Disease: An International Meeting to Advance Knowledge of Immunity

The conference Antibody Responses in Health and Disease, to be held from 9 to 11 December at the CosmoCaixa Science Museum in Barcelona, will bring together leading members of the international scientific community to explore the role of persistent antibody responses in a wide range of health and disease processes.

The meeting is organised by the Centro Nacional de Investigaciones Cardiovasculares Carlos III (CNIC) and the Centro de Biología Molecular Severo Ochoa (CBM, CSIC-UAM), with the support of the ”la Caixa” Foundation. The conference is coordinated by Almudena Ramiro, Head of the B Cell Biology Laboratory at CNIC; Christoph J. Binder, from the Medical University of Vienna; and Nuria Martínez-Martín, from CBM.

The conference is part of the Breakthrough Conferences on Biomedicine and Health, launched by the ”la Caixa” Foundation to promote knowledge exchange and collaboration in strategic areas of biomedical research.

Throughout the event, participants will discuss topics related to vaccination, autoimmunity, cancer, and cardiovascular disease from basic, translational, and clinical perspectives. The aim is to foster new opportunities for collaboration and drive advances with significant implications for the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of numerous diseases.
