Societies and Organizations
The Human Proteome Organization (HUPO) (https://www.hupo.org/) is an international scientific organization representing and promoting proteomics through international cooperation and collaborations by fostering the development of new technologies, techniques and training.
The European Proteomics Association (EuPA) (http://www.eupa.org/) is the federation of European national proteomics societies. It has been established to coordinate and integrate national initiatives within the proteomics field. The main objectives are to strengthen and promote fundamental research and applications, through education and training in all areas of proteomics throughout Europe.
Sociedad Española de Proteomica (SEProt) (https://www.seprot.es/) born with the aim of fostering the development of Proteomics in Spain, grouping for it to Proteomics researchers, Proteomics users, companies, and students interested in the study of proteomes. To fulfil these goals, the SEProt organize regular meetings to catalyse discussion and idea exchange among both academic researchers and industrial area.
