The European Society of Cardiology is holding its annual congress in Madrid from August 29 to September 1

Madrid will host the European Society of Cardiology Congress (ESC Congress 2025), the world's largest gathering of specialists in the field, which will take place from August 29 to September 1.

The central theme of this edition is “Global Health: Cardiology Without Borders,” highlighting the changing role of cardiovascular disease in global health. The congress will focus on new emerging threats and opportunities, how to address health inequalities, strategies to take advantage of therapeutic advances, and adapt to diverse healthcare environments around the world.

The Spanish National Center for Cardiovascular Research (CNIC) will play a prominent role, with numerous presentations and lectures by its researchers.
